Dinosaurs

Dinosaur history began about 230 million years ago, in the middle of the Triassic period.
Dinosaur is a word of Latin origin. The first who proposed this word was the English scientist, Sir Richard Owen, in 1841; Dinosaur means "Terrible Lizard", and this denomination comes to him because Sir Richard saw them as large extinct reptiles, very differentiated within the animal kingdom.

Dinosaurs are the result of a process of specialization of the musculoskeletal system, which has led them to have the extremities extended to the sides (like reptiles) to have them below the body. This process of specialization began with the tecodontes (reptiles-ancient).

Within the many subdivisions by groups that can be made of dinosaurs, there are two very important ones:

Depending on the time they are:
From 245 to 208 million years they are said to be from the Triassic era.
From 208 to 144 million years, they are from the Jurassic era.
From 144 to 64 million years old, they are from the Cretaceous era.

In addition; there is another depending on your hip. Thus we find the ornitisquios, whose characteristic is that they have the pubis back and down, and the saurisquios. These have the pubis forward and down.

Dinosaurs are the result of a process of specialization of the musculoskeletal system, which caused them to go from having the extremities extended to the sides (like reptiles) to having them below the body. This process of specialization began with the tecodontes (ancient reptiles).

Scientists usually agree on two hypotheses or theories that could explain the extinction of the Cretaceous or era of the dinosaurs: an extraterrestrial impact, for example, an asteroid or a comet, or a period of great volcanic activity.
Either of these two scenarios would have drowned the skies with remains that deprived the Earth of the sun's energy, preventing photosynthesis and spreading destruction up and down the food chain. Once the dust settled, the greenhouse gases blocked in the atmosphere would have caused the temperature to skyrocket, a sudden climate change ended much of life that managed to survive the prolonged darkness.
